Falcon Lake Murder: David Hartley's Ring & Friends

The silence in the Falcon Lake Murder case is maddening!

It is almost as if the world has forgot what has happened here on the border, and those that have to carry the weight of a supposed crime having been committed are those that actually live here.

We are the ones that are paying the ultimate price through loss of revenue to our businesses that depend on tourism!

We are not going to forget!

We will continue to demand justice until justice is served!!

For the life of me, I cannot understand how someone like Tiffany Hartley and Sheriff Sigifredo Gonzalez can get by with what they have done in claiming a crime was committed without any deep investigation.  Their only proof to David's murder being a life vest with a microscopic drop of blood, an unreliable eyewitness that contradicts Tiffany's story, and a DPS stop BEFORE the incident occurred, none of those actually proving if David was murdered and, if he was murdered, it doesn't prove who murdered him either.

So how can they get away with it?

Now, Tiffany Hartley comes up with another change to her story.

According to an interview given by Robin Craig of "Today's Widow" , Tiffany now claims to have looked back and repeatedly yelled, "Honey! Honey!", later also adding that she was screaming, "I need you! You can't leave me! I don't know what to do!".

That's not the story she was telling people at first.

On the other hand, there are plenty of things that are odd with this case.

One of those oddities being her The Monitor interview.

When interviewer, Martha Hernandez asks Tiffany why she has David's ring, she claims at 14:33:
"we didn't wear rings and stuff when we went jet-skiing or anything for fear that we might lose it.  But, um, so, yeah, I was thankful that he had it home so I could have it".
While it could be possible that this one time happened to be one of those times, I still think it's important to note that she is lying because there is a picture of David jet-skiing where he is wearing his ring.

Other oddities that are also of interest, and that have never been mentioned in the media or by Tiffany, except on her facebook wall, is her past history with the cartels.

Something that is also strange is David Hartley's increasing and decreasing friends on his Facebook page.  Unfortunately, I was not able to take screen shots of his facebook page when he had 218 friends, but I was able to take it when he had 215 on January 12, 2011:

At 210 friends on February 7, 2011:

And a screenshot on February 14, 2011 at  209 friends:

In the process, some friends have been added and deleted and one is left to wonder who is controlling David Hartley's facebook page?

Is it David Hartley?  Could it be possible that he's still alive?

Or is it Tiffany?  And if it is Tiffany, what kind of sick mind would delete her "deceased" husbands friends from his list and why?

***sigh***

I wonder how long this mystery will continue?

It makes me wonder if there is anything that can be done to start it?

If this case is a huge cover up, then who do we turn to?  Who do we complain to?

Who will help us?

In the mean time, those that are truly suffering are the businesses that operate on the border.  They depend on the tourism that, sadly, is being scared away thanks to people like Sheriff Sigi and Tiffany.

If by chance, Tiffany happens to be innocent, which I doubt, and this whole case did happen the way it was said to have happened, then I would apologize and just accept it for what it is.

Unfortunately, neither Sheriff Sigi or Tiffany are helping out much.  They continue to demonize the border and we are left with nothing else to do but investigate on our own and try to solve this puzzle ourselves.

We are left to seek the justice that law enforcement should be providing for us!

We are left with having to protect our border from the same corruption that Sheriff Sigi and Tiffany claim only happens in Mexico - corruption of the law, deceit, murder, and criminals, like Tiffany might be, getting away with a crime.

They contradict their claims that it is the drug cartels and undocumented immigrants bringing that corruption over here, when in fact, they are the ones guilty of mocking the law with their ever changing stories, insufficient evidence, and lack of investigations.

In short, if your biggest fear is this country turning into another Mexico, then thank Sheriff Sigi and Tiffany for following the Mexican trend of corruption.

Because of that, and much more, we will not give up doing our own independent investigation and defending our borders from corrupt politicians, corrupt law enforcement, and lying political pawns on this side.

Stay tuned for more important revelations to this case to be posted in the following days.

  1. Borderline Madness, You have put into words exactlty what I, and, I believe, or hope, many others feel.

    This is exactly right.

There are others out there who will continue to do an independent investigation while our MSM follows in detail celebrity drug busts, ignores important murder trials like Shawna Forde's, ignores LE's cover up of real criminals, and often their deadly prosecutions of innocent people.

I don't even want to get started right now on so-called US "law enforcement," both local and federal, our State Dept., and the politicians whose agenda Tiffany's "stories" have helped keep in power.

Those criticizing Mexico should watch their own "backyards," literally. And those backyards are in the United States.

  2. All your claims are flimsy. My FB friend number increases and decreases constantly due to people who unfriend me/deactivate their profiles/re-activate their profiles/ accept friend requests i sent months ago. Thus the change in number of friends occurs when I'm abroad, etc. and have no access to the Net. The ring assertion is just as ridiculous, sometimes people forget to take off their jewelry. You should be ashamed of accusing someone of something as serious as murder with such flimsy claims.

  3. Anonymous, thanks for your input, and I agree with you that maybe my claims about the FB friend count is flimsy, but not on the other claims I have made. Those are valid questions, and for your information, I have never accused Tiffany of murder. As a matter of fact, if you go back and read my blog again, I believe David Hartley is alive. There is no proof he is dead. I do accuse Tiffany Hartley of lying, but not of being the killer.

  4. Anyone see the other sheriff that the news located and he has on tape 4 guys in a boat with a Hugh bundle of pot. The funny thing is this is just up river and 45 minutes later then the David Hartley killing.....Hmmmmmmmmm. Really don't think Tiffany had anything to do with her husbands death. I do think that if the US, who is afraid to put soldiers down there (yea they come up with a bunch of weak excuses) but the truth is that may have little impact on the cartels killings. Then what do you think would happen if the American citizens realized how bad it is and the US can't really stop it.

  5. Anonymous @ 1:33PM, thank you for your response. As a border resident, I am bound to believe stories of people getting caught crossing drugs. Not only have I heard it from other people, but I have seen this myself in my front yard. There is no denying that drugs are crossing our border, and one of my biggest reasons for being so grateful for the job our border patrol is doing. However, drug trafficking does not constitute violence. For the most part, if you don't try and interfere, they won't harrass you. I've even been on the river when people are crossing, and even during a drug crossing and no one bothered us, which makes Tiffany's story so fishy. The only people the cartel have a problem with is law enforcement because they know LE is going to try and stop their business. Now, why would the customs and border protection say they don't have the photo that Sheriff Sigi provided of the "suspects" on a boat? Why is Sheriff Sigi not providing any details as to where this picture was taken, who gave it to him, and how does he know this is a certified CBP photo? Sheriff Sigi isn't just facing one complaint with the Attorney General for failing to not only provide information that should be available to the public, but also proving that this case is, or has ever been, under investigation, but he's also facing several compaint (about 5). His deadline to provide this information to us was up on September the 14th. If he fails to provide this information to us now, not only will he be facing a lawsuit from the Attorney General, but he will also be reported to the District Attorney for civil rights corruption. If the Sheriff is really for upholding the law, then he is really failing at it by breaking it himself, and his lack of interest in providing information about this case only proves further that this case is so deeply corrupt, I wouldn't doubt it was all a hoax to begin with. I mean, presidential elections are coming up...

  6. BTW, anonymous, there are no cartel killings on this side. As a border resident, again, I will say there is no need for soldiers here. We are safe enough as it is. It will only be a waste of taxpayer money, and what our border towns really need is money for infrastructures and paved roads, not border security on an already secure border. If you do not live on the border, then you do not know the reality of life here. We live in peace and we DO NOT live in a war zone. Check out my diary blog to see my videos about life on the border. Yeah, it's not that up to date because life is really boring here, and unless you want to see me sitting on my ass all day gossiping with the neighbors, then there really is no way of capturing just how peaceful it is down here. I try my best, however, to capture the peace when I can.
